Pros

The huddles and saying what you are thankful for is wonderful. I liked the core values inspired by scriptures in the Bible because I am a Pastor's kid. Too bad that nobody follows them. People do have an intense attention to detail but for all negative things. People do more with less because the Internet never works. People are innovator of lies. People do not cultivate a positive team spirit. If you are not in the cliques, you do not matter. It is high school. People do not exhibit professionalism. Orange hair, piercings, tattoos out, short, tight dresses. Everyone drives your bus instead of their own. Fires everywhere but everybody will be focused on your tiny fender bender. There are no pros here.

Cons

EVERYTHING. First of all, this place is very racist. I witnessed people using the N-word and felt very uncomfortable. People do not dress professionally. If you are older, this is not a place for you. It is a kiddie daycare. I believe that managers and team coaches should have to have a degree. Because if you are older like myself and college educated, you do not want 19-21 year olds talking down to you. I was told that I was not personable enough in my chats and to supervise Veterans. But the Veterans were personable and professionalism went out the window. They did not build value or follow the correct order to ask question. So, either you want people to improvise or follow the script. Pick one. You will work 8hrs straight without a break. Is that legal? You will be micromanaged using the bathroom.

I am glad that you enjoyed the morning huddles and that you are aligned with our core values. However, It's truly unfortunate that you had such a negative experience with our team. There are a few things that I would like to address: -Discrimination is categorically unacceptable at ProfessionalChats. We have robust policies and procedures to address alleged accounts of discrimination. It's impossible to be a company known for innovation without a diverse set of perspectives. We greatly, greatly value diversity on our team. -We do have a dress code that is enforced. The dress code does not include provisions about hair color, tattoos, or piercings. We encourage our team members to express their personallities while still maintaining a professional environment. -Because of the nature of our business, we must always remain live for our clients. That's why we have a specificly structured schedule for breaks. We would never ask a team member to work for eight hours straight. The lunch and break schedule is posted in every room and we cover the importance of the schedule on the first day of training. I hope that you find a place that is a better fit, where you can grow personally and professionally. We wish you nothing but the very best. Sincerely, Scott Hansen ProfessionalChats CEO

Pros

Training taugh me a lot and although you have to take a test, it’s not rocket science if you pay attention. The managers & team coaches are really helpful and easy to get along with as long as you’re doing your job and coming in with an “I want to be here” attitude, which isn’t hard to do considering it’s a fun workplace and everyone gets along great. It’s taught me a lot so far and I’ve only been here a couple months! Excited to see where things go. :)

Cons

I don’t believe there are cons. If favoritism is a worry of yours, you’re probaby not communicating throughly or actually engaging in huddles, meetings, training, etc.

The best part of our growth is that YOU are making it happen! A few years ago I could take much of the credit for our growth. Now, it is more than 100 other people that help push ProfessionalChats toward the future. Thank you for your hard work and for your kind words! The training test is not designed to be a "gotcha." Instead, we are trying to ensure that each new Chat Specialist has the same foundation when starting to chat for our clients. We are similarly excited to see what the future has in store for you. If you ever have any constructive feedback for me or for our team, I am always available to talk. Sincerely, Scott Hansen ProfessionalChats CEO

Pros

They really give you opportunities to improve yourself and become a better professional. I have found the management to be very accommodating. In the other jobs I have worked at, I've been told that I am valuable. This is the first time I actually started believing in myself and abilities. I've seen the management go above and beyond their duty to make the workplace happen for all of us. It's obvious that they love the company and are always offering their employees the opportunities for growth. I also love the teammates I work with! The medical stipend is also nice. It helps with the costs of insurance.

Cons

Every company has a "go" time, where things just need to happen. ProfessionalChats is no exception. In those times, things get really focused and driven. Some people tend to use the term "stressful", but every place I've worked had these moments. On rare occasions, there can be so much going on that it is easy to feel like you can't share your ideas, but I have always managed to find other --more optimal-- times to share my thoughts.

I'm so glad that you are enjoying your work here. Every team member we have has inherent value, regardless of work performance, and I sincerely hope that you continue to feel this way throughout your tenure. We are always open to your ideas, even when there is a lot going on! Please always feel comfortable bringing your ideas to me or a Team Coach. I have noted your comment about emphasizing the library more. It's fun to bonus team members $40 for every book they read in our library. It helps all of us grow! :) If there is any way we can support your growth now or in the future, please don't hesitate to express your needs/desires. Nothing makes me personally more happy than seeing our team members change their trajectory in life. Sincerely, Scott Hansen ProfessionalChats CEO
