Pros
Well.. let´s say, they give shifts 2-3 weeks in advance so you can plan your schedule.
Cons
Disgusting. Pay rate since LAST YEAR was less than minimum. Payroll office had guts to say- 'your holiday pay is included so it's not less than minimum wage at all'. I had to get ACAS involved to make them to rethink their attitude. Well, new financial year has started, so now I need to ask ACAS again to help.
In addition to that, Professional Security (Professional Rip Off Security should be their name), charges everyone 8 pounds per week for so called insurance and 10 pounds per shift if the worker has not signed in/out in the app. The area manager sends angry messages demanding to accept shifts and to be available on certain dates without any extra pay (the contract does not oblige casual workers to do so). Absolute disrespect and demands with no return.
