Professional Recovery Consultants Response

We do not accept any bullying, harassment or intimidation. We have defined 18 behaviors that we expect our employees to follow and they certainly don't include these behaviors. We investigate anything and everything that is brought to managements attention. We also have many forums for our employees to submit feedback and suggestions, perhaps you didn't pursue those. We have a suggestion box and have formed an employee council to give advice on any changes we are considering implementing. We wish that nothing ever changed as well, but our industry is very regulated and it is necessary to make changes frequently to minimize legal risk.

Pros

Steady work schedule, decent benefit options. Paycheck every two weeks.

Cons

Company does not have a real human resource department. With 100 employees, that speaks volumes. If you call in sick (even for the first time and you have PTO avail) you get wrote up immediately, even if you have a MD excuse. Also, the commission structure needs to be changed to reflect the line of business a collector is working in. Retail collectors are the lowest paid due to a steady decrease in clientele in that area. There is a them and us mentality amongst collectors. Employees bicker among themselves on a regular basis. Micromanagement is unbelievable. Managers are only concerned about THEIR commission checks/bonuses.
