Pros
-Flexible schedule -Different work sites -4 hour minimum
Cons
-Starting pay $16.00 -Being chosen for a project is a hit or miss -Very difficult to get a raise regardless of performance (no raise in 2 years despite repeated inquiries) -Project length usually ends up being shorter than advertised (You sign-up for a 4 week project and you end up working only 2 weeks) -Many of the "techs" are of questionable character (I have inadvertently witnessed theft, drug use, and falsification of hours worked) -No benefits of any kind -You are very dispensable -You are not allowed overtime -Not paid for the half hour lunch break -Breaks are often overlooked by leads -Very poor logistics from management (You will wait and feel lost as the lead tries to figure out the scope of the work, whom the contact person is, and where the supplies are at.) -This cannot be your sole job as you will not be able to make ends meet
