Pros
Management and coworkers are friendly. Work is remote.
Cons
I am on the phone literally the entire time. Making up to sometimes 450 calls a day, usually around 300 a day. We use a dialer, so the second you hang up, it starts dialing the next call. That isn’t even the hard part though. The people we call think we are a scam or telemarketer so I get screamed at, cussed at, I’ve been sexually harassed over the phone, I’ve had people blow an air horn into the phone and cause temporary hearing loss. I’ve had people call me some of the absolute most horrible and vile things I’ve ever been called in my life. I even had one person tell me they are going to place a death curse on me and my children. This job makes me cry every single day, sometimes multiple times a day. I have to take breaks just to cry and recollect myself. I feel so stuck in this job as I can’t find a different one and I can’t afford to not have a job. Unless you are very strong minded and can handle people like this for 8 hours a day, do yourself a favor and pass on this job. They literally told me the reason they have a 90 day training period is because so many people quit.
