Pros
Great management; the company is family owned and the boss is very friendly and very interested in knowing about the staff and learning about the staff and being involved with their personal lives but not overly involved. The boss takes pride in the company and making sure the staff are happy. The boss treats the staff to lunches frequently and gives gifts to the staff that are personal and meaningful. Friendly staff; all the staff are great to work with and everyone is very friendly and interested in knowing one another on a personal level. Opportunity to learn; with the right attitude, this company will allow you to grow in your position and learn about the staffing profession.
Cons
The benefits were too expensive; the company only covers 50% of employee only benefits and the plan is a High Deductible Health Plan that has a deductible of $1200/yr per individual or $3000/yr for family. With the base pay being only around $30k, the health care benefit was unaffordable for anyone trying to live on their own or anyone with a family. Schedule wasn't very flexible; the job could be done from home, but the schedule required that you be at the office from 8 to 5 every day. Low base pay; the base pay was around $30k which is ok for someone with little experience and trying to get their foot in the door, but their base pay had little room for growth.
