Pros

Cons
CLIENTS (MOST — BUT A FEW ARE KIND) - Management ALWAYS sides with them. (Keep this tattooed on your forehead.) - If they think you look even slightly “junior,” they will march straight to management — and like clockwork, management will scold you after. - Clients are always right - If the client is wrong, congratulations — you are still wrong. COMPANY AS A WHOLE - Wonderful team members and supportive colleagues - A pantry that resembles a feeding station for Maggi junkies - A refrigerator that functions exclusively as a decorative artifact - Company policies designed to meet the bare legal minimum, nothing more (especially for leave — while your friends enjoy full state + national holidays, you get the “legally-undeniable minimum package”) - A whimsical OT policy requiring a minimum of 4 weekend hours to count — anything below that, please donate your time with sincerity - Another brilliant OT rule: they can cut your OT if they feel you worked “too slowly” (should’ve just play games or sleep since the time wasn’t going to be paid anyway) - A proudly unapologetic probation policy: no annual leave + a medical claim limit so low (RM50 per receipt) that Panadol might bankrupt you - Company policies overall: minimalist, minimalist, and unfair MANAGEMENT - Refuses to acknowledge they’re the cause of the high turnover; instead, they call the staff “toxic,” like a crab lecturing its kids on walking straight - Experts at barking orders, allergic to guiding people - Intimidation by sarcasm and hostile tone is part of the daily ambiance - Dreams of becoming a Top 10 Audit Firm, but forgets basic concepts like employee retention - Practises toxicity as an art form — calling team members individually to FORCE us to talk bad about each other “for team improvement,” which of course destroys the team instead - And yes, I’ll admit, my annoyance with certain individuals has reached a point where even their facial expression feels like a personal attack (fully acknowledging the pettiness) SALARY & WORKLOAD - Severely understaffed — the reviews don’t lie - One person often carries the workload of 3–4 - Zero guidance: “Just watch YouTube to learn and get back to me” (fantastic leadership model) - Underpaid even for SME standards — which is extra fun on top of the toxic environment - Fresh graduate? No experience? Perfect! You’ll learn everything yourself while receiving a lovely combination of mocking, backstabbing, and blame from management - Can only attract fresh grads or extremely desperate job seekers — because anyone experienced knows exactly what kind of circus this place is CAREER GROWTH - No talks, no MIA training, no speakers, no motivation sessions, no digital training, no system training, no CPD — absolutely zero - You operate in a bubble of 100+ clients, without guidance from anyone - You’re told to “do first,” but later you’re scolded because it’s wrong - Career progression? More like career confinement P/S: The only good department here is the secretarial department, such a wonderful and softspoken director.
