Poor leadership, lack of clear direction, and favoritism when it comes to following process and meeting deadlines breeds a hostile, negative and fearful work environment. The CEO while passionate, often comes across as degrading and ungrateful. Management wants to make a difference but lacks the authority to do, ultimately working out of fear. Hours are long, overtime is standard, and pay is low. You may be busy and engaged but that does not equate to happy and appreciated.
