Pros

The pay is good, benefits are alright but have started trending downward.

Cons

The work expectations are ridiculous, the work environment is micromanaged down to the last minute of your day. If you stop typing/wiggling you mouse for more than a minute that time get tracked saying you are "out of production" if you send an instant message to a coworker asking a question (which is basically the only communication you are allowed other than email) you are "out of production" if you are composing an email (a major part of the job and a very basic way of communicating to other staff) you are "out of production" all of that time that you are actually working but it still gets counted against you. Then when you have perfect production because you are terrified of leaving you computer for even a moment to even run to the bathroom for fear of not meeting their rigorous production standard your supervisor will still jump out at you asking how you could possibly have such high production, it feels like they want their employees to fail. The work life balance here is terrible, during peak season employees have been expected to work up to 20 additional hours per week, no exceptions if you have other family obligations. They will often release employee engagement surveys but the will continuously ignore the feedback from employees in favor of making more rigid standards for employees to meet and also manipulate the surveys to not allow employees to give feedback on what Prime must clearly know they are lacking in. Prime claims that the number one priority is our clients and members but that is not reflected in the changes recently made to how reviews are done that focuses on grinding through as many requests as possible without regard to additional time that may be needed to get additional information on member's requests (especially with clinics as busy as they are during the Covis-19 pandemic). There is very little opportunity for growth within this company depending on your supervisor (Supervisors will change often as they change around their teams, to the point where you can have multiple supervisors within one year, which matters of your annual review) Don't bother with HR, they clearly are not looking out for the employees best interests. You can bring up any dissatisfaction with them and they will "investigate" what you say and then lie saying no other employees have brought up this topic as an issue when you have firsthand knowledge that other employees HAVE brought it to their attention. It feels as if Prime is intentionally creating a hostile working environment to get their old employees to quit so that they won't have lay off any employees after they had over-hired after a particularly rough peak season. Prime used to be a wonderful place to work where you could form connections with your fellow coworkers and the work pace was fast but manageable.

Pros

- VTO during non-peak season - Mandatory and Voluntary OT during peak season - Few calls per day - personable employees

Cons

- it’s nearly impossible to get hired on full-time. - as a contractor, you have no benefits and can’t partake in any of the company events or even give kudos to your colleagues. - the metrics are somewhat doable, but there are many technicalities that cause them to mess up a lot of the time. - Two months prior to being fired without warning, I was under the impression I was on a written warning, and not a final but was told I would get a follow up email letting me know about it and I never got that email. I did persist and ask about it a few weeks later and still had no follow up. - if you are a contractor, they will look for anything in your performance to fire you as soon as the peak season is over. A colleague was fired that same week due to suspicion of them having a mouse mover with no evidence provided. -I worked 12 hours a day, 7 days a week for two months straight with no days off until they made it mandatory to have at least one day off per week. - two days prior to me getting fired, in a meeting I was told that everything was looking great and that I was fine. It’s very odd how that tune changed abruptly.
