Pros
The amount of PTO was good for the industry, but not anything that was above and beyond. The location was good for most and many had the opportunity to work from home a few days a week or when weather was tough to make it in.
Cons
The HR department is completely top heavy. That being said, many HR people when contacted had no interest in resolving problems or helping to move you along in your career. Teams are segmented and moved around to implement new lines of leadership with no real direction on what individual contributors should be doing next or why they are under new lines of management. Whole teams are being let go and replaced with a "new direction" only to find out that they are doing the same thing the old team was doing. Again, HR's only help is to send a message out to employees saying "if you have a spot on your team, consider hiring one of the people being let go". That clearly is showing that they are doing their due diligence in trying to "help you find something new" but obviously not trying to incredibly hard. Managers and Directors are being moved up from lower positions with no idea how to manage and no direction on what to do to make their teams work together effectively. Ethics of some are questionable and favoritism runs very high. Be prepared for massive office political games and don't depend on your work to get you far if your not a favorite.
