Pros
(Disclaimer - I have not, nor will I ever, work in Primark London, I just can't put where I currently work just incase. It's not like my heart would break if I lost my job right now, but I'd like to find a replacement first lol) When I worked at my last branch I loved it. My job role was customer services desk and all the staff, including supervisors and managers were incredibly nice and helpful. I couldn't recommend it enough, as there seemed to be more of a push for customer satisfaction than sales, it was a better atmosphere.
Cons
~However~, at my current branch it is hell. After transferring, at the moment I don't even have a job title. I show up to work at the hours they told me I can have or go somewhere else, and then I have to go and ask the supervisor what to do, since I have no defined role or purpose in the company. Not only that, but my supervisors are vicious and humiliate staff in front of other staff and customers, and the managers don't care because at the end of the day, they come down to the shop floor to buddy up and have a good chit chat about random bullcrap with the supervisors, so it's not even like we can report the supervisors for bullying, because they're bffs with the management and all. My current branch is monotonous, soul destroying, unclean, spurious and I'd say we are one legal loophole away from the supervisors getting whips.
