I was Hired as a bartender and they had me training to do another job and trained for another job that I was not hired for. they made me train as a cashier by the way everyone there is really unfriendly and I wasn't trying to have out-of-pocket conversations during work just be friendly in the professional sense. The first thing that happened I'm A Wish asked if I could wear a tichel manager denied me and told me that she has written people up for not being within the uniform standard by the way that they don't pay for it they make you pay $10 if someone else steals your hat and the first one they gave you is missing. The second thing that happened the managers do not have any forgiveness for someone who is learning a new system one little mistake in there losing their minds on someone who is learning their system and it's quite an extensive menu. Tonight was a horror show horror show I had never been late I had never been written up not anything first I saw a manager taking money out of the tip cup which should never happen that tip is for non salary tipped employees he was taking that money out to pay for his own meal I know this is going to sound unreal but he was talking to an employee which he did not pull aside and said the word s very loudly the context was apparently they were having a conversation and he asked about himself and then assumed about what she said and said please don't call me a racist word for a Spanish person, he was Spanish but referring to Spanish people in that it's just unacceptable in a public venue the next thing I knew I was being pulled aside and questioned about my son's military service they are army I also have one deployed he was a Marine also he did make a comment about how hard I was working and within the next 15 minutes after I said my sons were Army soldiers apparently he was a marine and I was fired within the next 15 minutes maybe that was a way to find out how old I was or yada yada but I sat in the office and asked what I did wrong and was told you're just not what we're looking for no answer no nothing. so stealing anti-military racist yeah I'm all set thank God I have another job to go to but I'm seriously hoping that the owner gives me a call because all these reviews can't be wrong. This is not a good work environment for anyone. this place could be wonderful honestly it could be an awesome environment but the current managers are really causing problems they're really causing a lot of negativity.They are not the right fit for management. the regular employees are fine and friendly but the managers I don't know I just don't think it's a good environment for anyone to be managed by them or they need some remedial training
