Pros
Premium Retail Services and their Google vendor program had a uniquely powerful and impactful start, a truly rewarding experience for anyone who wanted to make the most of it. Some awesome benefits include: 1. Company provided gear! Shirts, jackets, bags, phones, Chromebooks, Chromecast, among other devices. Sometimes it took a while to get, but having these products for personal use and demo purposes is a MAJOR positive factor. 2. Set schedule within Best Buy locations which really helped create a consistent work-life balance. 3. Reasonably good pay/compensation. Benefits are average and so-so, but nothing to complain about. 4. Occasional training and business trips yielding an awesome and memorable experience.
Cons
After about two years, things really declined on this program. Some major complaints: 1. Worthless reporting and busywork. Daily surveys and checklists with mandatory completion that ask exactly the same questions, day in and day out. 2. Lots of unnecessary downtime for conferences and urgent e-mails that take away from your role in store. 3. Expansion and reorganizations of the program, multiple times a year with very poor communication and a horrible lack of transparency between management and field staff. 4. Inconsistent management due to turnover and company redirections that skewed the overall goal and purpose of the program.
