Pros
Colleagues form a bond through collective suffering
Cons
-you are manipulated to think that you’re making “great” pay so you justify all the abuse. Take a second and do a job search...they really don’t pay more than other employers -“Lean” workplace is totally an excuse to have unsafe/outdated work environment with no investment in people or infrastructure -outdated systems -IT has created this Mafia-esque group and believes they can make business management decisions without push back. Employees have been forced out or fired for challenging decisions made simply to save $ but create compliance problem -the CEO’s reputation is his violently out of control temper. In any other company this guy would be evaluated for psychological problems or simply walked out the door; at PCC this behavior is embraced and flows down to all levels of leadership -the louder you are, the higher you’ll climb. No experience necessary -See above. This company makes aerospace parts. Ethics and integrity should be promoted instead of screaming and working people to death -since there is no investment in planning tools/modern programs, the company constantly over promises/under delivers and expects the floor to make up for their poor planning -relatives and friends of leadership get placed in positions they have no experience in
