Pros

Some wonderful, creative people still work at the agency. Those people made your days worthwhile!

Cons

There are no growth opportunities, low industry standard pay, no bonus incentives, a toxic work environment, and fear/intimidation/retaliation tactics are often employed by middle and upper management in order to force junior employees to take on their manager or senior team member's workload. Being collaborative and friendly with your coworkers was frowned upon by management; I was instructed to not speak to any other coworkers unless the conversation was billable. Company culture has essentially vanished since 2023, and many people take that as an opportunity to harass people in an online environment.

Pros

Scientific rigor; supportive environment; resilient and able to remain stable/drive growth throughout market changes; hire excellent people who are smart, hardworking, and collaborative; strive to work as an extension of their client teams and strategic partners; broad, integrated capabilities across the product lifecycle; interesting portfolio of complex therapies and innovative platforms

Cons

Integrated systems and processes can be less than ideal given the broad scope of work across PMG; clients' reliance on fast turnaround + quality can create pressure; resource planning can feel a bit reactive vs proactive

Pros

Unlimited time off, flexibility in schedule, great culture within the PM department, fully remote work, opportunity to grow within the company through promotions every 2-3 years

Cons

Very low pay scale. 40-60K a year is hardly a livable wage anymore. Promotions can take longer than needed and everyone is basically just doing the same job, just some have a higher title/pay. The late nights can be brutal. Staying on past 11pm on a Friday night, with no overtime.
