Pros
The work with the service users is a lot more hands on than other companies, 12 hours of your day is dedicated to one single person and you spend their day doing activities etc.
Cons
The management is toxic and complete disrespect the actual staff doing the work. Once someone gets a promotion the power goes to their head and they treat all the staff below them like vermin. On many an occasion staff members have been injured badly while working with a vulnerable adult and management force staff members to stay on shift with only one other staff member to help them. In these situations the staff members life is potentially at risk and the managers dont even have the decency to ask staff members if they are okay. In my new job I am a manager of a significantly bigger group of staff, and I or any of the management where I work currently would ever treat a member of staff as inhumanely as the management in Praxis "care"
