Poor management Hostile work environment No lunchroom Phones are not allowed AT ALL, even in lieu of a watch. Unpleasant environment Bad selection of products that they only want you to push, forget all the other ones.

Prairie records can be a fun place to work depending on the location, individual store managers are quite nice, the pay is above average and as far as retail goes the customers are pretty decent.

The Head office and upper management staff are not great, there is a serious lack of appreciation for the staff and a lack of communication. They take huge advantage of staff and have them doing way more than what their job title and pay warrants both Saskatoon stores are running without"managers" but they have Senior key holders doing the managers job but without the pay or benefits.
