Pros

Eat club & Fork-able Lunch and Snacks. One or two good engineers

Cons

Horrible Engineering Managers, if you are ready to work for min 15 to 18 hrs , for low salary and falsely promised stock options(be careful about options offering and strike price, lot of my colleagues got duped. Promise one price but offered on higher price). The Engineering Managers(founders), think and treat employees like use and throw toy, according to them they know everything on this earth, but others are nothing in front of them. If you don't work for min 15 hrs, then one day you are fired. Be careful before joining this company. They want just interns and low paid less experience employees. BE CARE FUL

Pros

Opportunity to make a dent in the universe, talented team-mates who care about their work on and each other. Learning every part of the payment stack from people who know it well.

Cons

A lot of work to do and not enough people to do it.

Pros

- We are all still aligned with our original vision of giving superpowers to merchants, four years after the company was founded. No pivots, no excuses, just eyes on one goal. - We are very flexible with what we work on — engineers are open to exploring new areas of the tech stack, wear many hats and are unafraid to put on new ones, helping out where they can for the company's sake. - We are willing to ask each other for help, and willing to help each other out as needed. Everyone is very willing to share their time to dive deeper into an issue, provide input, even sit down and pair program for a bit. - We are really open with each other at the company — prioritization and planning meeting notes are immediately shared with everyone, and anyone can contribute their ideas to every product — often it's as simple as walking over to the team working on it. - Many in the company have families; many have very disparate schedules. Poynt is surprisingly flexible with work hours and work-from-home schedules.

Cons

- It's sometimes hard to balance wanting to build out a demo or new product, with maintaining and supporting existing products.
