Great place to get a sales career started - Field Marketer and Sales Consultant Power Home Remodeling Employee Review

Pros

The atmosphere and support system is great. Both the RVP's and mentors do a great job giving you the help that you need (including my long distance mentor, the famous Michael Balush). The money making potential is there if you commit yourself to your job. The ability to grow and be promoted depends on how hard you work. I was with Power for a little over a year and was promoted from marketing to a management position to a sales consultant role. The trip to Mexico was awesome.

Cons

The hours for marketing can be long, but the more you walk the more $ you make. The sales hours are unpredictable and you are not given gas reimbursement. You are expected to work 6 days a week as a sales consultant. Management is very up front with all of these cons, so you know what you are getting yourself into.

Pros

Power encourages and supports growth more than any other company I've worked for. The training, coaching, and leadership development opportunities are exceptional, and there is a genuine focus on helping people improve both professionally and personally. I've built valuable relationships, gained confidence as a leader, and developed skills that extend far beyond sales. For those who are motivated, coachable, and willing to put in the work, there are tremendous opportunities for growth, advancement, and long-term success.

Cons

The company operates at a fast pace and maintains high expectations, which can be demanding at times. However, Power is constantly evolving, requiring employees to adapt quickly to new processes, priorities, and opportunities. While these changes support growth and innovation, success often depends on strong time management, resilience, and a willingness to embrace change and continuous improvement.
