Pros
Leadership and management recognized room for improvement and are working towards it. New and amazing COO, Education Director and Employee Engagement Coordinator have made a positive impact. Also- it's rewarding to help franchisees! The CEO is passionate and involved on a daily basis- he has an open-door policy and is willing to listen. It's rare to have staff smile and ask how you're doing on a daily basis, so that's nice. Friendly co-workers (great mix of millennials and boomers), great location, growing positive work culture, ability to put your "stamp" on the company and really make an impact- leadership is usually open to new ideas for improvement. They also have put more emphasis on their core values and are starting to live by them (finally). Overall, great experience- every job has its challenges, it's just what you make of it.
Cons
A few negative people can affect the work culture at times, fairly low salary and average benefits, stressful work load with the high turnover. Also, franchisees have a variety of opinions on how things should be, which can be difficult.
