Pros
The only nice thing I can say about this company is that the people are very kind.
Cons
I was hired as a sales and marketing intern and was under the impression that I would be learning marketing and sales skills. However this is far from the case I ended up fundraising and trying to get people to donate money outside a CVS it was the worst experience ever. Literally nobody wants to be pestered after getting their medicine. The people who were in charge of training me kept telling me to hassle people even after they said that they weren’t interested. Also another very important thing that they never explained until I started is you’re essentially only making $30 for working 8 hours the only way to make more is to get people to sign up and donate for the charity you fundraising for and believe me nobody wants to do that. In fact you’ll find on most days that you’re losing money as opposed to making money. My two cents on this whole company is to simply avoid altogether as they are not upfront about pay, and job title.
