if your a tech forget about moving up unless someone retires or is moved up. almost no opportunity to advance up the ladder unless your in good with the top echelon. seldom do you receive a lunch break. we dont have time for lunch we have work to do is what you will be told. you get a safety allowance of 30 dollars for work boots. have you bought work boots since the 1970's? a decent pair of boots usually costs about a hundred dollars and be prepared to by two because in this line of work they dont last. like working 24/7? good because if you run night service that is what will happen. start in the mourning and work all night. try calling in telling them youve had 2 hours of sleep. sorry we need you here. you will be working tired with no remorse from them. your a machine not a human being. little thought is given to the average tech. the level of commitment they require is more than the average family person is willing to give. they preach family is everything until your home life conflicts with your work schedule. have little Suzy's play to go to? no sorry we have a customer coming in that needs a repair and your the only one left. ive seen more than one person being verbally abused from management as well. there is a whole lot more to write but then i would be going into specific detail and they would know who i am. there will be repercussions if they knew who wrote this. bottom line stay in school and get a real job. no one will respect a tire guy including upper management and customers.
