Pros
Smart People. I've worked with some of the smartest people I've ever worked for there.....but.....see below. Good Benefits Good Pay
Cons
Toxic environment due to culture of management treatment towards employees. *VERY* high turnover. The smartest people tend to get driven off quickly. Zero career opportunity. When there is an opportunity for promotion, the position is open to be applied for by anyone. Including marketed as an open position on their website. There is no middle management in the technology dept. Ok, there is, but they have no power besides writing your review (those don't happen either). The CTO (Scott Rothrock) of the company does not work through his management, he works directly with you. Creativity is punished. If you have an idea, good or bad, it's generally bad for your career to speak up. All decisions big and small are managed through the CTO (Scott Rothrock). Generally with no discussion. If you want to make a real difference and feel you have ownership, this is not the place for you. Jobs are threatened frequently. "If *x* happens people are getting fired" in open meetings isn't uncommon to hear. Frequent vacation freezes. CTO (Scott Rothrock) and upper management have both taken 1+ week vacations during vacation freezes they implemented. Terrible for moral and a bad example. Remote work is no longer allowed.
