Pros
- Great Work Perks ($200 Home Office, $500 Fitness, Summer Fun events) - Awesome workplace culture - Work-Life balance - Amazing place to start your career! - Recently acquired by another company (Good for the business I guess?)
Cons
- It was great until ... - Recently acquired by another company (new product "improvements" requires less technical experience or none at all) - Compensation is no longer competitive. - Salary is below market average. (found this part one out very late) - Very slow professional growth, probably due to favoritism by the Leadership Team. - Hires non technical individuals to work on intermediate to complex systems that requires coding experience. (could be the main reason why salary is below market average). - Your role is sometimes a little blurry depending on the project needs. You may represent your actual team or another team during meetings. This is great if you want to learn more about the other products and see it from a different perspective. - Resourcing issue, There are days/weeks/months that you don't have anything to work on, and there are days were resource is not enough to complete a plethora of projects.
