Some of the people at this company were extremely talented, hard-working, and cared about doing a great job.

About one third of the time, paychecks were late (by an average of about 10 days) due to cash flow problems. There was poor communication about these challenges so we usually did not know until less than 24 hours in advance if we would be paid or not. Reimbursements for personal expenses (which can reach several thousand dollars due to travel to Africa) are not paid in a timely manner (usually 3-9 months delayed). The situation is much worse for our colleagues in Africa, who are routinely not paid or reimbursed and are not told what to expect.
