Pros

Trip to Salt Lake; got to meet some cool people etc cool office door dash pass work from home tbh I had a cool team great manger etc but the pay just sucked the product works but the pay was just to low for me commission structure is $50 an opp not a lot of money like your working for nothing

Cons

1st as a sdr be prepared to be a glorified telemarketer your job is to dial 55 dials a day and set appointments for Ae's I would say the worst thing about this job is the pay your salary is 45k and OTE is 60k that's very low for the industry for Sdr 20 % of the company is hitting their quota shows you how bad it is there! They say at 120 opps you can become Ae that should be over a year but I would not suggest becoming Ae here Ae1 make 55k base 90k OTE and are basically sdr because they have to set their own appointments Ae 2 & Ae3 get some sdr help a lot of people quit this job after 6 months of working here because of how draining it is working here if the pay was higher I think people would stay and not leave they hire so many people then either let them go or the people just leave I left after 6 months For something better I would advice people if you work here use podium to get to a higher role even you have to become an Ae at podium do that or become Ae somewhere else trust me there are a lot of company's who would love to hire you when they see podium on your resume because of how the company is known in the industry

Pros

Cool office building, learn from some of the best sales reps you’ll come across in your career

Cons

I worked at podium for a few years. It was the most toxic sales culture I’ve ever experienced. I do not say that lightly It was worth the money a year/two plus ago. They raised quotas multiple times in the last year and decreased the commission percentages. It is wild how many hoops an ae had to jump through to close a deal. In my 7+ of being in sales it was probably the hardest sale to close and I was a top rep. If you want to join podium it could be a good learning experience but it will come with a lot of headaches, anxiety about job security (they pip sales reps out like no other company I’ve ever worked for) and maybe some tears
