Pros
Pluralsight has a fantastic heritage, strong mission, and genuinely talented employees. The product is well-regarded, and many people care deeply about learning, customers, and each other. Collaboration at the team level was strong, and the company historically attracted thoughtful, capable leaders.
Cons
Leadership decisions over the past few years lacked the strategic rigor and experience needed at the CEO level. Major changes were introduced without sufficient enterprise context, and leadership approaches that worked elsewhere were applied without fully adapting to Pluralsight’s unique culture and business model. The relocation and leadership transitions created unnecessary disruption.
