Once settled in and have a decent understanding of how to use/interpret the available resources, building becomes quite easy. A lot of sitting in one place during building; not very strenuous.
Cons
Most if not all training comes from being on the production floor. It is not uncommon to feel lost for the first few months while learning how to read documents and learning the so called “tribal knowledge”. First shift blaming second shift for building mistakes, vice versa. Not a lot of communication between supervisors, leads and workers. Feelings of under appreciation.
