-the morale is so low, and they keep ignoring everyone’s suggestions on how to be better. They have had major bursts of people quitting, so they are constantly rehiring, but not getting down to the root cause of the problem.
-every single employee in the sales department is burnout, especially team managers. They constantly have to hear SDRs complaints and suggestions and then when they pass that on to leadership nothing happens, and they are not heard and then they can’t tell their team that because it reflects badly.
-you can be a hardworking SDR and hit all the KPIs, but if you’re not booking the meetings, they do not care why might that be, they instantly blame the SDR rather than looking at the horrendous management of pipeline, or the lack of continuous training, they just put you on a ‘GEM’ which is a personal improvement plan, which is basically giving you 3 months to get your numbers up or else…
- They don’t have HR within Lisbon, they have an employee who literally only shows up to let people go, and doesn’t want to hear anything from the current employees. If you were to message her because you had employee feedback or because you just needed to speak to someone in a HR capacity, she would take weeks to reply or just simply ignore you and message your team manager to take care of it. This also then goes into the fact that, because of the lack of HR, there is a lack of HR procedures, which means that everyone hooks up with everyone creating sometimes a very hostile environment, which leads to a lot of gossip and a lot of toxic conversations. It can be quite an immature place to work at sometimes and definitely needs some control from HR.
-Managers and leadership do not care if an SDR is playing against the rules, as long as they are hitting the targets, they are praised. Dirty deals are still deals I guess.
- overall, it is a very tiring place to work at, you see amazing hardworking people lose their spark over the course of months, it is very unstable and everyone is scared that they might be let go of, and it’s just not the best environment to work at.
