9yI would like to apologize for the delayed response and thank you for taking the time to give your feedback. We are committed to creative a positive, collaborative, and efficient work environment for all of our employees so it is disappointing to hear about your experience. We value and consider all feedback and are always looking for ways to continuously improve so I want to address your specific concerns here.
Regarding cleanliness…factories can always be cleaner. Unfortunately, manufacturing plants, especially ones in our industry that work with raw materials, are impossible to keep spotlessly clean, but we do agree with you that it is something to improve on. Everyone likes a clean work place.
In order to remain competitive in our industry, we have to keep our processes on schedule, from the production of the material to the shipment of the final parts. This, no doubt, can be demanding but it is doable. Machines do break down but we’re proud of the skilled group of people who work under pressure to quickly resolve any issues. It would be difficult for someone outside of that group and without their skill or knowledge to fairly judge their work.
Most of all we are sorry to hear that the job did not meet your expectations. It sounds like Plastomer wasn’t a good fit for you and you weren’t a good fit for us. Production manufacturing work is not for everyone. The people who excel are reliable team-players who take pride in getting quality parts to the customers. It sounds like you didn’t feel like the job expectations were clear and that contributed to the end of your working at Plastomer. That’s too bad and thanks for letting us know. We really try to make a point to let all new workers know that we encourage questions. We can always improve communication, training and production methods and will sincerely take your advice for improvement to heart.
