Pros
-Excellent benefits -Mostly great people who want to succeed -C-Level staff are approachable and willing to listen, especially if you also have a solution. -C-level staff hold town-halls and keep you informed on business despite being a privately owned company -Lots of BBQ's, events, family related charities etc. -Education allowances, paid for training, personal growth
Cons
-Pay is low and often difficult to get into the properl range as they pigeon hole you with their "justified" stats with location industry etc even if your role isn't unique to automotive -The PMP review system was brutally bad. Everyone is miserable for weeks during the review dates. The intention was well but unfortunately it doesn't feel like an opportunity to acknowledge goals and accomplishments. -There are many great leaders but the really bad ones with many complaints remain and sour their workers. If you are stuck with one of these few managers then it's better to leave than wait for action from upper management regarding complaints. 3 managers with multiple reports per direct-staff report yield no action. -Salary staff are over worked trying to keep up with growth, bonus ins't worth the hard work. Staff are proud of their extra work and success, hiring as needed and bonuses worthy of the effort would be a nice sign of appreciation.
