The company is growing a lot and it feels like a particularly exciting time to be a part of the business. Ownership and creativity are really valued here and because of that things really get DONE. If you have ideas, you can execute quickly and with encouragement. Everyone at Plant People is kind, competent, and really believes in the mission. No egos here. Everyone is willing to roll up their sleeves and work together, regardless of seniority. Also lots of exciting stuff on the horizon. Definitely a company to watch!

Not a huge con, but can be fast-paced! Like any start-up environment, priorities can shift quickly and new opportunities pop up all the time. You have to be willing to be flexible.

I worked at Plant People for about 7 months as a Creative Content Manager leading social media, and had a truly great experience. The team is full of genuinely kind, talented people who care about what they're building. Since it's a smaller company, there's a lot of collaboration, room for growth and plenty of opportunities to jump into new projects, share ideas, and make an impact. I loved getting the opportunity to connect with the community and help grow the brand's presence online and in person. It was exciting to be part of a company that's growing and constantly trying new things. The products are great, the mission is meaningful, and I truly learned a lot and had a positive experience during my time here. My manager was encouraging, trusting, and gave me tons of creative freedom.

Like any startup, there are some growing pains that come with building processes as the company scales. But that's also part of the fun! You have the chance to help shape the roadmap and contribute ideas as things grow.
