Pros
Working at Plant People has been one of the most fulfilling chapters in my career. The company truly walks the talk when it comes to wellness — not just in the products we make, but in how we treat our people. The founder team -- in particular the ceo -- is passionate, accessible, and deeply invested in both company growth and individual development. It’s a fast-moving environment with a lot of autonomy, and while that can be challenging at times, it also means there’s room to take ownership and make a real impact. Cross-functional collaboration is strong, and new ideas are encouraged and often implemented. They are very big on being agile, iterative and moving quickly...you'll wear a lot of hats if you want to get a lot of experience quickly! On top of that, the mission around plant-based wellness and sustainability is genuinely inspiring. It felt good to work at a company that’s not only growing, but doing so with purpose.
Cons
Fast-paced and startup-y — not for someone looking to coast. Roles evolve quickly, which is exciting but not always clearly defined
