Pros
PPIL is a state-wide organization and serves many different groups - urban, suburban, and rural patients. It is an important safety-net provider.
Cons
It doesn't seem to matter whether you are super-competent or completely incompetent - you will be laid off or asked to leave at about the 2 year mark, sometimes earlier. The only people that stay are the VP level people. This means that at the service level there is constant turnover and there are always people in training who don't know the process. Also the administrative office has an entrenched, isolated, toxic workplace culture.
