My friend said they had been recommended to Planet but was concerned that the reviews were all over the place. As I read the reviews, good and bad are both right. I'll try to explain.
You're hired in with a good story. You're busy immediately, the pay and benefits are decent. But as time goes on, you realize there are dark under currents here. If a project goes poorly, the project managers start back biting. We've had to fire 2 project managers in 6 months because they didn't know what they were doing. Burn out is high - we've lost 3 managers in 3 years. The company runs like 3 separate organizations, and the owners don't like each other. It's closely held and as a consultant you ABSOLUTELY have to understand you are a commodity.
Someone told me that when a bad review was posted, that some people were paid to write a good review to counter it. I don't know if that's true, but it would certainly fit the Ra Ra culture. There's also a lot of tell the customer we can do anything and then figure it out.
