Pros

ZERO none nothing.. Nothing is good

Cons

The owner and relative (spy) must be on some type of medication (illegal or). Paranoia and disgust describe these 2 individuals. Yelling/ screaming/ profanities was a daily occurrence. Truly I was desperate and had to take the job for there was a lack of jobs in the desert. Worked there 2 years and I still have bad memories of working 18 hours straight (on an install) with no regard to breaks or time off. My phone would ring off the hook on weekends. They insisted I have to answer my phone at all times. I was on salary (very low) and felt like I was on-call every day for the 2 years I worked there. What a nightmare.

Pros

Drive out to the office was better than the drive out to LA to work.

Cons

If you like to be yelled at for 5 hours with profanity spat out at you by the owner, then hey work here. If you like to work and learn ancient code for their POS systems, yeah they got that. If you have an interest in databases that are nearly beyond repair, jump in. If you want to be forced to go to casinos to work because the IT staff is blind to knowledge as the software leadership doesn't convey information to them, here's your sign. If you like 42k a year salary, dude join this team. No automation, I'd say waterfall coding but more like no real design efforts other than "we need this, yesterweek." I'll tell you what I have learned, how to find better and get to better positions. How to cut through ppl that are full of BS because of working here for 5 years. My bad, I was an idiot for staying longer than 3. I am grateful though, landed a new gig after I quit worth 3 times that programming and working with newer technologies. Oh an in Ontario if you all are still following these like we used to.
