Pros

There used to be a good staff discount but that’s changed. Easy to get promoted.

Cons

Most other things. Do not join this company if you want to have a life outside work, as this will put you straight in the bad books. They pay ok but you need to be available at the drop of a hat whether that’s 10pm at night or 5.30am to get a train to london for some arbitrary meeting that could be started later. I’ve never spent so much time getting unnecessary documents ready for unreachable deadlines (ie, receiving the task at 6.30pm to be completed by 9am the next day), only for the same documents never to be looked at or used. The direction & focus changes constantly, one minute management are expected to also be full time sales staff on the shop floor and hit targets, but have to manage retail teams remotely, travel between stores and be a full time trainer. In general they ask far too much, and they have no consideration for mental health.

Pros

Pixi products are great and you get a great discount

Cons

1. Doing the job of 2-4 people by yourself 2. When you have to stick up for yourself because you’re drowning they said you’ll have a tone 3. Instead of sitting down with you and flagging this to you they end up just letting you go 4. They’ll also do big department lunches and single ONE person out and say “they didn’t realize you weren’t there” 5. You think you can go to HR and things might help but turns out it does nothing 6. Once in a meeting it was said “the grass isn’t always greener on the other side” saying we should stay at least 6 months before we have it figured out etc - but can’t sit down with you and maybe give you a warning? 6. They’ll promise you a certain salary only after you completed a certain amount of time (aka because they know they have high turnover)
