Great experience! - Project Coordinator PixelFish Employee Review

I worked at Pixelfish for approximately 2 years. I can honestly say I learned a lot there and was able to work with some creative, and talented people. There's great moral with both Management and Coworkers, and even an open door policy which made the company feel less like a 9 to 5 and more like family. PixelFish has a beachy laid back setting/environment yet its fast pace because the product is in demand. Unfortunately I am no longer with the company because my husbands job had him relocate. I sure miss getting paid every two weeks because at my new job we only get paid once a month :(

I wish they created a satellite office where I live now.

This company must solicit a decent amount of work to still exist. I don't know enough about this company to give them many pros. I did get paid, although mighty late, so that is a pro.

I was a contracted to do several video jobs for Pixelfish. They claimed to have a 45 day payment cycle for freelancers, which would have been fine, but this was not the case. After not receiving payment, they said that the payment would go out during the next payment cycle, but would not tell me when that was. Several emails later of zero explanations, payment came net 90 days post invoice. They gave no indication of this payment time frame, and I was in the red for equipment rental costs during this entire period.
