Pros
People see the movies you help to create! Highly rewarded for working hard, personal creativity is encouraged in engineers (similar program to google 20% time), great benefits and pay. I love the mix of art and technology, which extends also to engineering. The recent embrace of open sourcing our internal software is also exciting.
Cons
For the most part, engineering work is not public facing (aside from the new open source projects), so anything you build is only used by internal clients. Also, like top tier colleges, you have to work extremely hard to get an A, but on the flip side, if you're not into working hard, getting a B is pretty easy and nothing bad will result from being average.
