Pros

Free snacks. Some good people. Competitive pay. A good stepping stone and learning experience of what NOT to do.

Cons

Still operates like a struggling startup despite being “in the business” for years. The only reason they’re starting to win work now is because they do it for cheap. Clients will learn they get what they pay for. Leadership has no real vision or credo. Agency very much functions like a soulless sweatshop. Creative work is derivative. Creative director position still vacant months after the last one quit. Senior leadership is nowhere to be found. Disorganized with no process. Double standards for management vs normal staff. Most people are only here for the paycheck, which to their benefit is above industry standards. Turnover is very high. Talented people come and leave quickly whereas slackers and subpar staff stay because there is no accountability. All freelancers were let go, usually a sign of financial trouble brewing. No HR department so forget about getting help if you have an issue. Office and building are also disgusting with no regular cleaning crew. Open food can be left out for days. No work life balance especially now with no freelance help. Staff are expected to shoulder the overload. Don’t believe the positive reviews. They were obviously written by management. Some bait and switch when they interview. They paint a very rosy picture of how great it is almost to the point of overselling this place. Day to day reality is very different from what they initially describe.
