Herman Miller furniture is classic and meets the needs of the dynamic changing environment of our customers. Showrooms are beautiful and convenient to bring clients in to show furniture configurations and new products. Many of the people on the Pivot team are wonderful to work with.
Cons
Despite the great products we are selling, the office environment is lacking. When I visited the Santa Clara office, I was shocked to see two colleagues who were obviously in a relationship displaying PDA which made me uncomfortable as I was with a potential client. I offered my guest a cold beverage, and when I opened the community refrigerator, there were more bottles of wine on display than sodas or water. I believe that the large number of millennials who work for Pivot bring both vitality and an air of immaturity to the office. Gossip and cliques are the norm.
