      Pros

      Good work experience for getting into IT.

      Cons

      Extremely low starting wages for this kind of work. I made more money hourly cleaning houses. On my first day I was told, "The owner does not pay overtime no matter what." then the owner proceeded to walk in at closing time and have a 2 hour intro discussion. On many, many occasions I was encouraged to skip lunch. On many occasions I stayed late to finish up mandatory work. There are 4 hour long quarterly, unpaid, mandatory meetings after a 9 hour workday. I was never, ever paid for any more than 40 hours per week. The owner has at least 4 felony fraud charges. He refused to pay me for my last week of work and is now seeking legal action against me for acquiring a job that is barely related to the work I did here. If you want to get a better job in the field of IT using this place as a stepping stone, you're in for a rude awakening. Run while you still can.

      So true that there are two sides of every story: No call no show for scheduled shift, in direct violation of signed onboarding documentation, agreed to follow-up meeting (no call no show for that as well!). Not request for meeting about concerns, minimal effort and contribution to team, and breeched our commitment to clients to be sole provider (splitting work for 2 companies simultaneously). Glad to be rid before 180 days - bullet dodged! Up 175% since replacing 3 staff in 2019! 🦾

      Pros

      Nice people, great for hands on IT experience, very go with the flow type of staff and it works great for the type of company this is. Also ownership and upper management is very hands on with the work environment without going too far, will help you always and give you good feedback if they see that something isn't completely right. Try and strive to be not like other companies and it is done rather well, I also like that they do have a lot of options to sell and make your job a lot easier when dealing with people. CEO and upper management are genuinely good people that I've never personally had a problem with, never argued at any point and never had too many problems with the people in upper management.

      Cons

      Policies can be a bit of a learning curve at points, not really much room for promotions above T2. Documentation stuff that they have you read is not very engaging and can be very helpful but can also be complicated to read if you don't have proper experience with IT repairs.

      Cons

      Culture is not good, Owner is rude is over complicated and doesn't like any resistance. Wants you to work for free at times and is very aggressive.
