      - Make your own schedule - A lot of events are high profile and you're rubbing shoulders with celebrities at times - Nice people - Get to see a lot of cool venues in NYC - Decent pay

      Cons

      - Catering is really hard work- you're on your feet for long stretches and usually working 10+ hours. - You never know what you're walking into with each shift - It can be intense at times- captains or event planners can often get stressed out and lose patience. Understandable, but just be ready for it.

      Pros

      The pastry chef at the time was amazing to work with. Pinch allows creativity from their pastry department.

      Cons

      The pastry station is fairly small.
