- Make your own schedule - A lot of events are high profile and you're rubbing shoulders with celebrities at times - Nice people - Get to see a lot of cool venues in NYC - Decent pay
Cons
- Catering is really hard work- you're on your feet for long stretches and usually working 10+ hours. - You never know what you're walking into with each shift - It can be intense at times- captains or event planners can often get stressed out and lose patience. Understandable, but just be ready for it.
