no cons to the company

Most of the area managers and lower level people are laid back and down to earth. They all understand everyone is trying their best with what they have to work with.

The upper management lacks direction and commitment to projects. Many times projects get kicked down the road only for hard deadlines to approach and then everything turns into a fire drill. I understand this happens at every company. However if you fail to plan you plan to fail. Additionally Pilot is owned by Berkshire Hathaway so everything is going corporate. The atmosphere in the Houston office can best be described as soul sucking and depressing. Additionally there are not yearly automatic raises. As a whole midstream does not really have the same opportunities as up stream. I would suggest looking for a job with an exploration and production company.
