Pros

Love the classes, the managers, the instructors, and the studios. The FitFormer is a great piece of machinery and way better than others on the market.

Cons

If you have the great displeasure of going to a corporate owned studio ... run. The owner - Oscar Sanin - is literally a crazy man. I have never seen a so-called professional like him act so unprofessional. He gossips about everyone, is unkind, rude and abrasive to anyone that works for him, lies to get what he wants and is a complete revisionist - he alters stories to meet his narrative. And he has consistently tells everyone "I told you so" .. even though he is just revising the past to make a point, or more accurately, to avoid taking responsibility.

Pros

A job where you can wear leggings and play your own music. Yes please! Amazing environment. People are terrific, from the instructors to the clients and the front desk staff. The schedule is perfect, you can create your own hours and work with others to make an ideal schedule. The owners give you freedom to run the business and are open to your ideas. There is support from them and their assistant when you need it without constant check ins. There is more opportunity for growth then any other business I've been a part of. The buisiness is growing rapidly. Pay is very competitive for the industry.

Cons

Wish there was more support and feedback. The owners are business savvy and treat their employees as such. They don't need to baby you every day and rather, treat you as an equal, with all the good and bad that goes with that. If you can't handle criticisms or take coldness well, they may not be your ideal bosses. But they are great people and truly care for every person they employ and the whole business they run. If you are hourly, there are no benefits. You don't get into this business for the money so the environment outweighs this.
