Pros
-Great Work Culture. -Collaborative Environment. -Many opportunities for individual contribution. -Many opportunities to learn and learning was a big priority. -Great relationship with management. "BURNING IS LEARNING" was a major motto during my time there. This embodied the mentality that we had as engineers: fail hard, fail fast, and learn as you go. That's the way to success and our leadership definitely embodied that.
Cons
-LOTS of work. Not necessarily a con, as that's just the typical start-up life, but there were many hours put on to make great things happen. -Fledgling technology is difficult to develop. What Pi is trying to accomplish hasn't been done before and there are lots of obvious difficulties that come with that. -Needed more expertise. We were a young team, which was fun, but on some of the more difficult tasks we could have used the guidance of more senior engineers.
