Local Management will try to have you shift your hours at their convenience to avoid paying overtime. Local management lately has been terrible. Pay will never increase as fast as the COL Management demands a high level of world class service yet they don't compensate for such demands. Companies like Microsoft in the same area will pay almost double for similar stress level. Retention of newer employees has been substandard. Most leave due to 2 things. 1. Management. 2. Salaries. Most Hospitals will pay better and have less work to do. Work/Home balance isnt great. You are basically supposed to have Philips as the most important part of your life. Anything less and it is frowned upon. There is no stability in leadership. Constant change and not always for the better. Too many hoops to jump through for field engineers doing their jobs.
