Pros
Naturally, the best thing about working here is the shared passion for pets. In addition, every person working there, with the exception of the C level people, is dedicated, creative and supportive. Overall, the concept is a great one and if you come in to the job with solid skills and a strong belief in your knowledge, you will learn and grow. Even if it is from watching mistakes being made despite advice.
The benefits are standard, but solid. Work-life balance is average.
You also can count on over all understanding in the case of illness or family emergency.
Cons
The cons, unfortunately, far outweigh any pluses that exist. The C level people are reactionary, undirected, unhelpful, hypocritical and abusive. The company values, while good at their core, do not apply to the whole, but rather fare utilized or the management to manipulate. That said, this is an extremely toxic work environment.
