Pros
The team are a good bunch of people.
Cons
The CNC side of the business needs a tremendous amount of work that doesn't seem like they can overcome. The communication between departments is almost non existent, resulting in customers receiving parts late or incorrect as inspection is lacking in terms of equipment and knowledge. It's this poor communication that means we don't have the tooling or material or even inspection equipment to complete the required components to a high standard that they try to pride themselves on. During my interview I was told a bonus scheme was in play, this was not the case and when they were going to start introducing it, the bar is set so high that it is unachievable so they don't have to pay. I was also asked to do different shifts to help meet deadlines, but shortly after starting this shift I realized that I would be alone in the building for at least a couple hours, making my partner and myself slightly concerned for my health and safety. Upper management also seem to spend too much money on seemingly unnecessary things, and it's up to the CNC department to make up the money that they are spending, and once again it's unrealistic and our fault the company is loosing money.
