Pros

Salary, need for project management, and remote option

Borderline discriminatory management style. Once I came out as a gay black woman I was immediately treated differently than everyone else on the team. I was constantly watched. One leader expected everyone to fit in her box of a southern bell. She frequently references religion as well. The level of micro management for black people is insane. Every other team member (nonblack) was treated with grace, fairness, and kindness. The reviews are mainly by non minority groups. The pay is great but it’s not worth the scrutiny. This was by far the worst employment experience I’ve ever had. I have a six sigma champion cert, black belt, mba, and pmp, and I have never been treated the way I was at Percepta. The scrutiny on minorities and members of the lgbtq+ community was unreal.

Pros

Flexible remote work environment with supportive supervisors and helpful team members. The training was well organized and provided the tools needed to assist customers effectively. It was a good opportunity to improve communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills while working with a diverse customer base.

Cons

Some days had high call volumes, which could be stressful during peak periods. Performance metrics were closely monitored, and certain customer issues required coordination with multiple departments, which could sometimes delay resolutions.
